So I randomly met Max Martini this past week (01/02/15) when I went to watch Mockingjay Part 1 with a friend.
We had time to spare before the film so we went to the starbucks nearby for some coffee. In line I happened to look behind me while waiting and recognized him and was kind of in disbelief for a moment but it was him spending family time I guess. He got in line in back of me and I kind of just went up to him and asked if I can take a pic with him. I was kind of lost in the moment so I momentarily couldnt recall his name but thankfully I did, and after the pic he was asking me if I liked Pacific Rim(I mentioned I recognized him from it) and briefly discussed him having a role in 50 Shades of Grey.
It was so cool cause out of all the cast of Pacific Rim I always wanted to meet one of the Hansens since they were my favorite ©

Regarding your question, the Starbucks I happened to meet Max Martini in was in Burbank, California. Right outside the Burbank Shopping Center(Mall Basically) It was so random as I said meeting him cause I didnt want to make the mistake that it was a look a like but as the picture shows it was him xD
Its funny how things played out cause my friend had asked me “Do you want to go in the theaters or should we get some coffee first?” so it could of ended up with me not meeting him ©
